Part of She's Arkansas Heritage Collection, the Van Buren branch of the Citizens Bank opened in c. 1886 in the 700 block of Main Street. In c. 1905, the bank moved into their newly built and more impressive corner building with arched windows and stained glass fanlights at 6th and Main. The Citizens Bank building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing structure in the Van Buren Historic District.
